Luxury Family Holiday, Dubai
Dubai offers an amazing range of things to do for families. In addition to the fabulous beaches, you can experience everything from rugged mountains to awe-inspiring sand dunes, lush green parks to traditional villages; ancient wind towers to ultra-modern shopping malls. With its large array of Luxury Family Hotels and Family Entertainment, it offers everything you need for your Luxury travel experience.
What we think you will like!
Dubai has an ever-increasing array of child-friendly attractions and many hotels have first-rate children's clubs with supervised play areas and organised activities. There's a lot to keep children entertained outside the hotels, such as the Wild Wadi water park. The park is very safe, with plenty of lifeguards, and it has several restaurants on site. Overshadowing the Wild Wadi, with its 65,000 marine creatures and array of waterslides, is the recently opened Atlantis, an enormous new resort at the crest of the artificial Palm islands. Even if you are not staying at the hotel you can visit the extravagant Aquaventure Water Park and its beach, or the Lost Chambers Atlantis-themed aquarium. For something more low-key but just as much fun, you could go on a desert safari, which is a welcome contrast to the gleaming modernity of the city. In complete contrast to the dunes, Dubai has the world's largest indoor snow park.
A favourite resort withour families.
Jumeirah Beach in Dubai is always popular with families and there are a couple of hotels that are also very popular. Firstly, the Jumeirah Beach hotel is a striking Dubai landmark sitting on the edge of a vast private beach. This family hotel’s extensive recreational facilities and children’s club are matched by the very varied dining possibilities. Guests also benefit from unlimited, free access to the adjacent Wild Wadi water park.
Another excellent option is the Mina A’ Salam which is part of the three-hotel resort, the Madinat Jumeirah. All the guest rooms have sea views and are richly adorned in Arabian fabrics. Numerous bars and restaurants are interwoven amongst the resort and there plenty of leisure facilities, a children’s club and a stunning spa. Children will love getting around the resort in golf buggies or on a boat!
When we think you should go
Due to the Dubai weather pattern, October, November, March and April is the best time to visit Dubai. You can enjoy the sun, sandy beaches and desert dunes throughout the day during this period. Dubai has only two seasons, summer and the winter. Summer starts around mid April when the temperatures gradually start increasing. So from June to September the weather can be extremely hot. “Winter” starts around the beginning of November. December-January is the peak of winter and temperatures can drop to 15C during the daytime.
