Obergurgl is great for beginners and intermediates, which, along with good ski schools and top class luxury hotels makes for an excellent family ski holiday destination. It is one of the highest resorts in Austria at 1930m, and being linked to Hochgurgl offers over 100km of flattering groomed runs. One major advantage is the general lack of queues on the upgraded lift system and children up to 8 years ski FOR FREE.

Hotel Alpina offers a great standard of hotel with sophisticated service and cuisine and excellent leisure facilities.  The leisure facilities cover the ground floor of the hotel and there is nothing nicer than lazing in the Jacuzzi, swimming pool or sauna, looking out over the mountain after a hard day on the slopes!  The children are well catered for with free child care from 3 years up with a varied outdoor and indoor programme.  There is also a playroom with billiard, table tennis and video games
